Lee Kenichi, CEO Kenichi has studied engineering at California State University. After his graduation, started working as a racing car design and engineer at Dome in Japan. He has joined Toyota group in 2011, involved many projects including compressor technologies for a hydrogen engine circulation system.

He has joined Rakuten drone business department and contributed variety of drone projects such as a long-distance drone delivery in Fukushima, a long flight operation in Chiba city, a disease detection by special sensors for golf courses.

He has founded Okuma Drone in April 2022, bringing top tier drone specialists from the industry.

Raphael Gross

Gross has earned Ph.D. from The French Aerospace Lab (ONERA) and after graduating, joined Dassault Aviation, the leading French aerospace company. Gross has also had many experiences of aviation technology projects with partners such as Michigan university and Airbus. He has moved his life in Japan in 2018. He has obtained knowledges and experienced such as machine learnings, deep learning algorithms, neural networks and UTM platform development. Gross has joined Okuma Drone in 2023.

Masashi Taruta

Has spent his youth in the US. After graduated from the faculty of law at Keio University, Taruta has joined Rakuten drone business division and worked for many drone projects including a business development of “AirMap,” an original Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management (UTM). During his services Taruta has also contributed to several unique drone projects such as a seed spraying for greening of after a land slide disaster, and development of a world's first explosion proof drone for oil plant inspection. Taruta has joined Okuma Drone in 2023.

Masashi Kawaguchi

After graduated from the design collage in NY, PARSONS, Kawaguchi has joined world’s leading brand consulting firm, Interbrand and served for many branding projects. He then joined the leading advertising agency in Japan, Dentsu group contributed for variety of marketing projects. In 2008, he has started one of the selected venture business projects funded by the company and incubated it as a $100-million-value business. After being an independent consultant, Kawaguchi has joined a consulting team which helps major companies to develop their new venture businesses, also start helping the Fukushima/Okuma city recovery projects.
